It is through shared stewardship we care of our public lands! Join us weekly in Panthertown for trail maintenance days and special projects like this culvert rock armor last week. We also finished pruning Rattlesnake Knob Trail, both on the less traveled North end.
Can we get a thumbs up!!
Smiles for trails!! Thank you Panthertown Stew Crew!!
Spotted, a pre Panthertown Scavenger Hunt survey!

Had a successful pruning day out on the Granny Burrell Falls Trail, a valley classic flowing alongside Panthertown Creek. Bit by bit we have been opening up a wet and overgrown section of the trail corridor for a future cribbing project. Creating a more sustainable trail will benefit us and the ecosystem! Thanks guys!!
Met a mountaineer at our weekday workday! It was a perfectly cold and icy day to talk big mountains and do some pruning on Greenland Creek and Macs Gap trails. One of the best parts about being outside during covid is meeting new folks safely. Check out Panthertown.org for more opportunities!
💗Volunteer love! 💗Feeling thankful for the wonderful people taking their time each week to join in helping Panthertown get some trail TLC. We took in a spectacular lunch at Jawbone Falls after continuing the ongoing tread and corridor work on Devils Elbow!
Happy “National Take A Hike Day” here in Panthertown Valley. We invite you to help us protect this special place. Become a member, donor, or volunteer, today. Your support is appreciated! #nationaltakeahikeday #recreateresponsibly #leavenotrace #panthertownvalley panthertown.org/join
Thank you Nantahala SORBA for a day out on the Rattlesnake Knob Trail. This trailhead off of hwy 281/ Rockbridge Rd provides access to around 20 miles of mountain biking through the valley. We gave the Rhodo a good hair cut to keep it from pushing you and the trail off the mountain. Join us on a workday to help sweeten the trails for your enjoyment! Panthertown.org
Team Thursday brought new rolling grade dips to Devils Elbow! This is the first of several workdays needed to mitigate water erosion on this trail. It’s a pleasure meeting new people safely outside while giving back to the lands we love ❤️ 🥾 🌳
Cold mornings don’t keep our volunteers away! We were busy all weekend with two workdays back to back. New and improved rolling grade dips were hard earned on the Panthertown Valley and Wilderness Falls Trails! Thank you volunteers and Scout Troop 4!
