The mission of Friends of Panthertown is to work in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service to conserve Panthertown as a backcountry natural resource and to enable sustainable recreation.

Our staff and volunteers maintain 30 miles of public trails in this treasured backcountry recreation area located on Nantahala National Forest in Western North Carolina.

You can become a Friend by volunteering or donating in support of our conservation and stewardship work in Panthertown.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
